Is it really tax free?

Personal income tax is indeed 0% and there is no plan for that to change. Corporate tax is set at 9% and was introduced in 2023 to bring the UAE into line with international banking standards, making the UAE a safer place for investment and business.

How long do I have to be in Dubai to set up?

During the set up of the business you do not need to be in Dubai. Once the company formation is complete we would begin your visa process and when the e-Visa is issued the you would need to be in the country for roughly 7-10 working days.

Is it expensive to live in Dubai?

Like all major cities Dubai can be expensive, but if you are sensible with spending you can live a quality of life that is considerably improved vs most European or American cities on a similar income.

Is it too hot?

With year round sunshine and only 25 days of rain per year it can be hot, but Dubai has air conditioning everywhere. Residents adjust to the weather quickly and with 6 months of cooler temperatures per year the weather is a benefit for most.

Do I need to live in Dubai to have a business?

To open a bank account (personal or business) requires a residency, but you don’t need to live in Dubai full time. As long as you visit at least once every six months you can maintain your residency.

What is there to do?

A quick look on social media will show you malls, brunches and beach days, but there is so much more to Dubai and the UAE. There are activities for everyone and beyond those a quick drive to Hatta, Khor Fakkan, Ras Al Khaimah and more offers nature and beauty.

Is it safe?

Dubai regularly ranks as one of the safest cities in the world. Regardless of where you are coming from you will be surprised by how open, safe and tolerant Dubai is.

Are different faiths allowed?

The UAE is a Muslim country but people from all faiths are in the country and free to worship. With a variety of locations there are a multitude of denominations for each faith.
